The 9th Nottingham Barrett’s endotherapy course is a two-day course covering all aspects of the endoscopic management of Barrett’s oesophagus and early Barrett’s neoplasia. This course will be of benefit to Gastroenterologists, Gastrointestinal Surgeons, Pathologists, Nurses and Endoscopists with special interest in the management of Barrett’s early neoplasia. And also to Gastroenterology trainees starting to have interest in the field of interventional endoscopy.

Attending this course the participants will be able to learn how to perform a high-quality endoscopy for Barrett’s patients, identify and stage early Barrett’s neoplasia accurately, discuss and select patients who will benefit from endoscopic therapy, apply appropriate techniques for endoscopic resection, perform the different ablation techniques in an efficient manner and learn tips and tricks to avoid complications. Therewill be also hands-on session with ex-vivo animal models and interactive case discussions.

Instead of the usual and conventional lectures, our program this year has been designed as three panels of big experts covering the three main topics in Barrett’s endotherapy: diagnosis, resection and ablation.
