World-first study for sufferers of Crohn’s disease
17th November 2015
BBC East Midlands Today came to our unit to film a piece about a study, led by Dr Gordon Moran, inviting patients with Crohn’s disease to take part in a revolutionary study which could help prevent weight loss.
Crohn’s disease is a long-term condition that causes inflammation of the lining of the digestive system. The symptoms of Crohn’s disease vary depending on which part of the digestive system is inflamed, but common symptoms include a loss of appetite leading to unintended weight loss.
The piece was featured on the programme on 17th November from 6.30pm on BBC One
BBC Radio Nottingham also interviewed Dr Gordon Moran on their Drivetime show at 4.55pm the same evening
