This study, which showed the differing effects of fructose and fructans on the small and large bowel excited much interest. Here she is seen discussing her poster with Dr Peter Gibson from Monash University, Australia who first described the benefits of a low FODMAPs diet in patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
