Royal Society Summer Science Exhibition 2013
2nd July - 7th July 2013
The liver research group have been selected to present at the Royal Society Summer Science Exhibition from 2-7th July 2013. This exhibition is an annual display of the most exciting cutting edge science and technology in the UK.
The team, led by Dr Neil Guha and Professor Guru Aithal, will be presenting an exhibit called “The Scarred Liver”. This exhibit will demonstrate how we are developing new tests for the earlier detection of liver disease and also improving the way we use existing tests. We are proud to be working with the medical physics team from the Sir Peter Mansfield Magnetic Resonance Centre to develop new ways of using MRI in the assessment of liver disease.
